I love your tribute to Mr. Dillon. When a cat dies who is over 10 years old, well meaning people feel the need to tell you “He had a long, full life.” Only it does NOT feel that way at all to the human survivor.
Thanx for sharing your friend’s pic and his lovely poem.

Thank you Gini, You’re right, it doesn’t feel like that. Dillon died 3 years ago in October – but still miss him! He was the best cat!!
